JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam Begins Tomorrow: Admit card link, important exam day instructions here

The National Testing Agency is scheduled to begin the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2024 Session 1 tomorrow, January 24. Candidates who have registered for the examination can check the admit card link and other important exam day instructions here.
The NTA has issued the admit card for the upcoming examination set for January 24, 2024. This applies to Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B. Planning), as well as Paper 2A & 2B (B. Arch & B. Documents to carry on the examination day

  • Admit card along with Self Declaration (undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
  • A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
  • Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
  • Personal transparent water bottle.
  • Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.

Important Guidelines
1. Candidates should not bring Instruments, Geometry or Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, any Paper/Stationery/Textual material (printed or written), Eatables, Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/Earphone/Microphone/Pager, Calculator, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches with calculator facilities, any metallic item, or electronic gadgets/devices to the Examination Hall/Room.
2. Candidates are advised to arrive at the Examination Center at least 2 hours before the exam starts.
3. Upon request, candidates must present the Admit Card downloaded/printed from the NTA website for entry into the examination room/hall.
4. Each candidate will be assigned a seat with a designated Roll Number. Candidates should locate and sit in their assigned seats only.
5. Ensure that the Question Paper on the computer corresponds to the opted subject mentioned in the Admit Card. If there is a mismatch, inform the relevant Invigilator.
6. Candidates may seek assistance from the Centre Superintendent/Invigilator in the room for technical help, first aid in emergencies, or any other information during the exam.
7. If a candidate provides false information and appears in more than one shift/date, their candidature will be canceled, and the result will not be declared.
8. NTA will not conduct a re-test under any circumstances for those unable to appear on the scheduled test date for any reason.
