Joslin Smith spotted in another Street View pic

Another reported pic of little Joslin Smith – this time with her biological dad – has been spotted on Google Street Views.

The Saldanha Bay girl went missing from her home in the Middelpos informal settlement in Diazville on 19 February.

Four people – including Joslin’s mother, Kelly – will appear in the Vredenburg Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 13 March, on charges of kidnapping and human trafficking.

JOSLIN SMITH AND DAD SPOTTED ON GOOGLE STREET VIEW?

On TikTok, user Jeanre du Plessis posted an image she had discovered on Google Street View. In it, what appeared to be little Joslin Smith was being carried home from school by her father, Jose Emke.

The pic was taken in September 2023 when Joslin was in Grade R at the Diazville Primary School.

The TikToker shared: “I sat and looked through the streets on Google Street View at the path that Joslin would walk from school in the afternoons. I swear it’s her.

“While the image is obviously taken before Joslin went missing, the social media user added: “There is no purpose to my post except to give hope. Joslin is stuck in time here as her father carries her home from school. What are the odds that I would spot her? What are the odds that in September 2023, a guy decided to drive past them at that particular moment?

“What are the chances that I, who have no clue where they live or where the school is, will blindly move down the streets and come across at the exact moment?

“That’s the point. There is hope. Miracles happen!”

@jeanreduplessis7 READ CAPTION!!! Daar is hoop. Wonderwerke gebeur! #joslinsmith #joslindad #missingchild #joslin ♬ Deeper Experience Chant – EstherJonathan

Last week, another TikToker shared an image from 2022 in which Joslin was seen walking behind her mother, Kelly, in the informal settlement on Middelpos Drive.

@kallit.trendz This was in October 2022, I had a look around her area and came across this close to her home…#KallitTrendz #bringbackjoshlin #joshlinsmith #kellysmith #SAMA28 #fyp ♬ I Don’t Trust Nobody – iZthoN

WHY NO RECENT PICS?

With Google Street Views using technology to capture locations and landmarks, many have questioned why Joslin Smith has yet to be seen since her disappearance.

According to the TikToker, this is because: “It’s not live footage. The [Street View] car will drive around and record 360-degree footage of certain areas once every one to three years

‘JOSLIN SMITH IS ALIVE’

Meanwhile, Joslin Smith’s school is also holding onto hope that their schoolgirl is alive and well.

In a Facebook post, the school posted pics of staff wearing the colour green, which they claim is a “symbol of life.”

The post read: “We believe Joslin will return safely.”

Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie has also expressed his belief that “all leads point to the fact that she is still alive”.
