A woman has been attacked by a shark in Jurien Bay.
Emergency Services rushed to the Jurien Bay Beach after a woman in her 40s was reported to have been bitten by a shark about 11.50am on Monday.
A St John WA spokeswoman confirmed that paramedics are meeting the patient at the Jurien Bay Jetty and the RAC Rescue helicopter is on standby.
It is understood she has been bitten on the leg, however it is not yet known how serious her injuries are.
