In the academic year 2023-24, 436,138 boys appeared for the Karnataka SSLC exams, with 287,416 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 65.90%. Meanwhile, 423,829 girls took the exams, with an impressive 343,788 passing, achieving a significantly higher pass rate of 81.11%.

Candidates who are dissatisfied with their results have the option to request a re-totaling. If they remain dissatisfied even after the re-totaling, they can then apply for a photocopy of their answer sheets, restricted to those they previously requested re-totaling for.
