The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline for the round 2 choice filling till today, September 11. Candidates who have applied for round 2 of counselling can now submit their selections via the official website kea.kar.nic.in.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) administers the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for admission to undergraduate engineering, architecture, pharmacy, and other professional programmes in Karnataka. The exam is given in both Kannada and English. The KCET 2023 exams were held on May 28 and 29, 2023. On June 20, 2023, the results were announced.
As per the revised schedule, candidates will be able to submit their choices by Monday, September 11, 11:59 PM.
Candidates who acquire MBBS seats in the second round will not be eligible for engineering seat allocation, regardless of their initial engineering inclinations, according to the official notification. Candidates assigned BDS seats in the second round, on the other hand, have the option of accepting their allotted engineering seat after abandoning their dental seats.
Students who are shortlisted, are required to report to their respective designated institutes to confirm their admission. Candidates must present their documents as mentioned in the notification, together with the allotment letter, and pay the KCET counselling fees when they report to the institute.
Candidates will have till September 13 to pay their fees. The deadline for reporting to the college designated for choice round 1 candidates is September 14 before 5:30 p.m.
