KOBE, May 26, (KUNA): Kuwaiti Ambassador to Japan Sami Al-Zamanan expressed his admiration for the Kuwait national team’s outstanding performance and victories at the World Para Athletics Championships held in Kobe, Japan.

In a statement to KUNA, Ambassador Al-Zamanan praised the remarkable achievements of national team players Faisal Al-Rajhi and Faisal Sorour. He also honored them after the championship for their exceptional performance, which resulted in winning the gold and silver medals respectively.

Faisal Al-Rajhi secured the gold medal by clinching the top spot in the 5,000-meter wheelchair race, while his teammate Faisal Sorour earned the silver medal in the shot put competition.

Ambassador Al-Zamanan expressed his hope for the continuation of such remarkable achievements by the players, emphasizing the importance of upholding Kuwait’s reputation in sports forums worldwide.
