NEW DELHI: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has started the application process for admissions to Classes 1 to 12 for the academic session 2024-25. The registration for Class 1 admission commenced today and will continue until 5 pm on April 15. Furthermore, registration for Class 11 admission will begin ten days after the announcement of Class 10 board exam results.
For Class 1 admission, children must have attained a minimum age of six years as of March 31, 2024, with a cut-off date of April 1, 2018.Offline registrations for classes 2 and above have also commenced today and will conclude on April 10. Notably, KVS has introduced a new admission portal to facilitate the admission process across all 1,254 Kendriya Vidyalaya schools.

Balvatika Registrations and Reservation Quotas
Registrations for Balvatika levels 1, 2, and 3 are being conducted offline in schools from April 1. It’s important to note the age criteria for each level, with children required to be between 3 to 6 years old as of March 31, 2024. Moreover, KV admissions adhere to reservation quotas, with 15% of seats reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 27% for OBC categories.
