A disastrous weekend of “very bad” election results in Queensland for Labor has cast doubt on the Albanese Government’s chances of winning seats at the next Federal poll as part of a bid to stave off minority government.

Queensland Premier Steven Miles described the two State by-election results as a signal to his government to do better ahead of the October state election.
