Liberal MLC Tjorn Sibma sent an email on Friday stating Brian Burke was welcome to contact him as a constituent to discuss “electoral, legislative or policy” matters, dealing a further blow to leader Libby Mettam’s credibility in attempting to distance her party from the fallen former premier.
The correspondence came in response to an email sent by Mr Burke to all State MPs in which he cautioned that Liberal Leader Libby Mettam’s attacks on his involvement in securing two grants from the Labor Government risked backfiring.
