Lotto: WA takes $4 million share of Powerball jackpot, with 8 lucky winners

West Aussies are being urged to check their Powerball tickets tonight, with a Division One winning ticket taking home a share in tonight’s $8 million jackpot.

WA and Victoria produced two winning tickets, each worth $4 million.

The winning WA ticket was part of a syndicate across two retailers: Clarkson Lucky Lottery and Major Luck Lottery Centre.

Eight winners are set to share the $4 million jackpot.

Lotterywest spokesperson Sarah Dawson said the amazing result is WA’s second Division One Powerball win this year. A Swan Valley family claimed the first prize, worth $40 million, in March.

“So far this year, WA has celebrated 74 Division One wins across all Lotto games, which has seen players share almost $200 million in Division One prizes,” she said.

“The WA community is also a winner tonight, with this Powerball jackpot run raising around $1.1 million for the Western Australian community through Lotterywest’s grants program.”

20 Division Two winners are also in luck tonight and will each pocket more than $7,800.

The draw produced over 62,000 winners across WA tonight in other divisions.

Tonight’s Winning Numbers were 35, 15, 5, 23, 34, 29, 30 and the Powerball was 2.
