Australia’s sexiest locations have been revealed, with four WA suburbs cumming… oops coming… in the top 10 and Perth at the top for buying bondage accessories.
Online adult toy retailer Lovehoney used its sales data from across Australia to create a Sex Map of the country.
WA had the most entries on the list of suburbs with Cockburn, Belmont, Swan and Bunbury all claiming a position on Lovehoney’s Australia’s hottest suburbs for 2023.
The Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 Rechargeable Clitoral Stimulator was the most popular purchase in the City of Cockburn.
The retailer awarded WA the Sporty Spice for buying more kegel exercisers and balls than average.
Lovehoney’s global survey of 2022 found that:
- More than half of the Aussies surveyed bought a sex toy last year with two-thirds of those reporting they were in a relationship
- One in four like when a partner uses a sex toy
- More than two-thirds have used a with a partner sex toy and one in four do so regularly
- More than 50 per cent of people who reported that they were satisfied with their sex life reported masturbating once a fortnight

- UK – purchased the most products and the top-selling men’s product was a prostate massager
- Australia – spent the most on clitoral suction toys and the favourite lube flavour was strawberry
- NZ – top-selling product was an advent calendar and the highest-selling bondage product was underbed restraints
- USA – buys the most butt plugs and realistic dildo was the most viewed category
- Canada – buys the biggest dildos and the top selling anal toy was jewelled butt plugs
