A luxury aged care provider in Mt Claremont will be able to open its grand hall for functions with up to 250 guests after it revealed it was considering closing the venue due to high maintenance costs.
State Planners approved an appeal from Aegis Aged Care Group to increase the capacity of its nearly 120-year-old Montgomery Hall, which it has rented out for weddings and private events of up to 150 people for the past two years.
