A WA dad who ‘disowned’ his sex worker daughter after discovering her OnlyFans account came back into her life after learning how much she was raking in.
Maddi Miller was 18 when she decided that she no longer cared what people thought of her — having broken free from a string of abusive relationships — that’s when she founded her highly successful OnlyFans account.
Sadly for Miller, who was adored by her father growing up, had her secret life as a content creator exposed to her furious father after her stepsister spilled the beans to him.
“My stepsister found out first about my OnlyFans. She wanted $500 to keep Dad from finding out,” she said.
However, two months after paying the hush money, Miller received an angry phone call from her father.
“He called me a s**t. He called me a w**re. He told me I was no longer his daughter,” she said.
“I didn’t talk to him for three months afterwards. We were completely no-contact.”
But his tune quickly changed when he became aware his daughter earns about $25,000 a month on the adult platform.
He began to ask her for money, saying that he was dealing with financial hardships, to which Miller responded, “Whatever he asked, I did.”
Asking her for a few hundred dollars occasionally soon turned into him asking for a few thousand dollars every week.
Miller was forced to cut her dad off after many promises to repay her for the loaned money went unkept.
“It finally clicked about six months ago that he was using me because he had come to town to stay with me,” she said.
“The first night, he promised he was going to be a better father.
“The next morning, I found him overdosed in one of my spare bedrooms … I had to keep my distance after that.”
Miller says that when she was younger, she and her father were “close” and she was aware he struggled with addiction and anxiety but wasn’t fully aware of the extent.
“But my mum hid it really well. She made a good life for me with what she had.”
