- The Mariners (74-56) are 36-14 since July 1, boasting the best record in baseball during that stretch. It is Seattle’s best 50-game stretch since going 36-14 from April 23 to June 18, 2003, per the team.
- At 128 games into the season, this is the latest Seattle has had a share of first place since 2003.
- Mariners star Julio Rodríguez is batting .414 with nine doubles, six home runs, 27 RBI, 11 SB and carries a 1.150 OPS over 22 games in August games. He’s hit successfully in 12 straight games.
- The Rangers (73-57) are 1-9 in their last 10 games.
