McDonald’s Australia is giving away free Coke and fries to customers for the next three weeks – if they say 15 very specific words.
The fast food giant has launched the Big Mac Chant Challenge to celebrate its iconic burger, which has been expanded into a whole new range in Macca’s locations across Australia.
The challenge will test customers to say the iconic 1970s Big Mac jingle — “Two-all-beef-patties-Special-Sauce-lettuce-cheese-pickles-onions-on a sesame seed bun” — in four seconds or less.

If they succeed, diners will score a free small fries and a Coke with the purchase of a Mac Jr., Big Mac, Double Big Mac or Grand Big Mac.
To enter, customers can use the Big Mac Chant video filter on Snapchat or via audio recording on the MyMacca’s app.
“Australia, warm up those vocal cords and prepare to have a new song stuck in your head because the Big Mac Chant is back with a bang,” McDonald’s Australia Marketing Director Samantha McLeod said.
“The Big Mac is a global icon and one of our most popular menu items, so it only felt right we celebrate its rich heritage with old and new generations of Big Mac fans, while creating even more feel-good moments for our customers.
“It’s harder to say than it is to eat, but the faster you say it, the faster you win, so the only question is: can you say the Big Mac chant in four seconds?”
The challenge runs from April 17 to May 7 to all customers across Australia.
The launch of the Big Mac Chant Challenge follows the return of the Mac Family — Mac Jr. Grand Big Mac — and the addition of Onion Rings served with Special Sauce. These are now available in Macca’s restaurants nationwide for a limited time only.
How to score free Macca’s fries and Coke
- Go to the Big Mac Chant video filter on Snapchat or the audio recording tab on the MyMacca’s app
- Record yourself saying “Two-all-beef-patties-Special-Sauce-lettuce-cheese-pickles-onions-on a sesame seed bun” in four seconds or less
- Upload the recording
- You will then receive directions on how to access your free small fries and a Coke with the purchase of a Mac Jr., Big Mac, Double Big Mac or Grand Big Mac.
