A beautiful, Helsinki-based influencer is taking the internet by storm — but not all is as it seems.
Milla Sofia, 19, has over 100,000 social media followers, over 30,000 on Instagram and over 90,000 on TikTok, where the blonde beauty shares snaps of her holidaying in dreamy destinations such as Greece, gaining attention from fans worldwide.
But not all is as it seems.
Sofia — incredibly human-like — is actually a product of artificial intelligence.
The self-described “robot girl” has seemingly fooled many fans into thinking she was a real-life human, but one thing had others questioning her authenticity.
Sharing a photo of herself at “Sunset Beach”, Sofia can be seen leaning on a wall.
Despite the majority of the photo seemingly okay — there was one issue — her left hand had an extra finger.
“Whoever runs this account might want to fix that left hand,” one user commented.
“Always the fingers……,” another shared.
AI systems reportedly have issues re-creating human-like hands, the issue becoming a dead giveaway for digital photos such as Sofias.
But the robotic model doesn’t deny that she isn’t real.
“Welcome to my virtual realm! I am not your ordinary influencer; I am a 19-year-old woman residing in Finland, but here’s the twist — I’m an AI-generated virtual influencer,” her website reads.
And she also has a resume, hoping to try her hand at a real-life job.
Sofia is currently working as a fashion model and is “currently considering which brand to become a fashion ambassador and virtual influencer.”
Having studied at the “University of Life”, her resume description reads: “Being an AI-generated virtual influencer ain’t your typical educational path, but let me tell you, I’m always on the grind, learning and evolving through fancy algorithms and data analysis.
“I’ve got this massive knowledge base programmed into me, keeping me in the loop with the latest fashion trends, industry insights, and all the technological advancements.”
