During questioning, police learnt that the techid had already left the company several years ago and was currently employed in London. The techie’s side of the story emerged as he confirmed that Arth Panchal was indeed a childhood friend. In a candid conversation, the techie acknowledged the history and informed that jealousy might have fueled Panchal’s call.
A Mumbai crime branch officer told TOI, “After reaching out to the techie, he recognized the name of the caller and confirmed their long-standing friendship. He mentioned that envy could have been the driving factor behind the call.” Attempts to contact Arth Panchal were met with no response, and at present, no official FIR has been registered concerning this matter.
