New Dodge Complete Performance Package Includes A Day At Radford Racing School

  • Dodge and Mopar have introduced the new Complete Performance Package.
  • The protection program covers more than 5,000 components for six years or 75,000 miles.
  • The package also includes one-day of instruction at the Radford Racing School.

Vehicle protection programs are about as exciting as late night infomercials, but Dodge is spicing things up with a new Complete Performance Package that complements the factory warranty. While that doesn’t sound terribly interesting, the package includes a one-day stint at the Radford Racing School.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]};
adpushup.que.push(function() {
if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){
adpushup.triggerAd(“4d84e4c9-9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a”);
}
else{

adpushup.triggerAd(“6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657”);
} });

Dodge says the experience is valued at $1,500 and will get attendees used to high-performance vehicles. As part of this effort, owners will be exposed to “exercises, such as team slalom, autocross and hot laps” in school-provided vehicles. That’s an interesting perk, but it’s up to you to travel to Chandler, Arizona and make use of it.

Fun stuff aside, the Dodge Complete Performance Package is part of the Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan program and covers more than 5,000 components for six years or 75,000 miles (120,700 km). Covered items include the engine, transmission, and suspension as well as more basic things such as brake pads, oil and filter changes, and tire rotations.

The package also includes all factory-recommended scheduled maintenance, wheel alignments, wiper blades, and “squeak and rattle repair.” Interestingly, buyers will also receive paintless dent repair, wheel repair (up to $7,500/year), and wheel and tire coverage for damage caused by “road hazards.”

On top of that, customers will get roadside assistance, a $100 towing allowance, and key fob repair and replacement coverage. There’s also $1,000 of trip interruption coverage and a $45 per day rental car allowance.

Dodge didn’t mention pricing, but the protection package must be bought within the first four months and 5,000 miles (8,047 km) of ownership. The package is available exclusively on new vehicles and the company strangely noted it doesn’t cover the Viper, which has been out of production for nearly a decade.

Several different variations are available, but purchasing one isn’t straightforward as it doesn’t appear that you can buy the package online. Instead, the website directs customers to call 1-866-818-9929, much like a late night infomercial.
