New food and beverage options coming to Claremont Quarter laneway by October

A facelift to fix underutilised outdoor spaces at Claremont Quarter has begun in a bid to offer more food and beverage options for shoppers and create a neighbourhood hub.

Works on the luxury shopping centre’s pedestrian laneway, which connects the complex to Gugeri Street, began on March 11.

A redevelopment of the town square on St Quentin Avenue is also expected to start in coming months, which will have new food and beverage venues including a small bar or restaurant on a first floor deck overlooking the area.

“We are excited to be embarking on this next phase of redevelopment, which will greatly benefit our retailers and residents and the wider community,” he said.

“This redevelopment demonstrates our continued commitment to the creation of a vibrant Claremont town centre while solidifying Claremont Quarter as a premium retail and lifestyle destination.”

The laneway redevelopment is expected to be complete by October.
