No. 1 Notre Dame knocks off Allentown for 3rd straight win – Softball recap

Emma Marchese drove in three runs while Rylee Michalak pitched a six-hitter and struck out 11 with no walks as Notre Dame, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, knocked off Allentown 5-0 in Allentown.

Alayna Giampolo and Kalyn Rosica each went 2-for-4 while Madalena Creo had a double for Notre Dame (9-1), which won its third straight game. Notre Dame scored a run in the third and sixth innings before adding three more in the seventh.

Allentown (8-2) lost for the first time in four games.
