Nta: UGC CSIR NET 2023: Admit card expected this week at csirnet.nta.ac.in; Check important details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC National Eligiblity Test (NET) admit cards for December 2023 session exam.
Although there has been no official announcement on the date and time of the release of admit cards, various media reports suggest that the NTA is likely to release the UGC NET admit card by the end of this week.
Once it is released, prospective candidates will be able to download their admit cards for the exam by logging into the NTA UGC CSIR NET 2023 portal at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
Generally, the admit cards are released within a few days prior to the scheduled day of examination. Once the admit cards are released, subsequently, city intimation slips are also expected to release.
According to the examination schedule released by the NTA, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 26, 27 & 28, 2023.
The exam will be conducted across the country in 8 states and 225 examination centres. The test will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
The CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) is held in India to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) in Science and Technology stream.
The exam is given twice a year and covers a variety of subjects in the science stream, including Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. Successful candidates may be eligible for JRF, which allows them to conduct research in various CSIR laboratories and institutions, or for LS, which allows them to become eligible for teaching positions in universities and colleges across India.
