Octo Gaming dates to 2018. You can find their headquarters in Paris, France. However, it wasn’t until January 2022 that it entered Web3. It did this with the ‘The Octos’ NFT collection. This is a collection of 4.444 NFTs. The collection immediately sold out on the Solana chain. Holding an Octos gives you access to various perks on their app.

Octo Gaming has its own wallet and a native token, $OTK. This token has various use cases. For example, it allows you to buy,

  • In-game powers (live and only for NFT holders) 
  • Avatars (live)
  • Raffle tickets to get prizes

You can also get it as a reward when you compete in weekly leaderboards. Soon, you can upgrade your NFTs with it as well. Furthermore, you can use it to recharge your NFT power for in-game use. It also gives access to DAO guilds and a Telegram Whale group. You can also stake your $OTK. 

Besides Jupiter, Orca, and Raydium, $OTK is also available on KuCoin. Its current price is $0.04576, and it has a market cap of $14 million. There’s a 1.3 billion max supply. Out of these, 304 million circulate. 

Besides The $OTK token, there’s also an in-game token. This “Golds” token has no monetary value. However, you receive it when you start playing games. By beating your opponents, you get a part of their stash. You can redeem your Golds for rewards by their brand partners.

Octo Games also offers some amazing stats. For instance, it has,

For news updates by Octo Gaming, one bit of news stands out. Recently, Octo Gaming expanded into football. But that’s not all, they partnered with a massive football team. There’s a new game underway with PSG, the French top team. PSG has a new game powered by Octo”. The game will be available in the Octo app in due time. An announcement about this is imminent. Octo Gaming created the game in cooperation with PSG and PSG For Communities. The latter is their involvement with youngsters.

There’s also a partnership with Jambo Phones. They are building the web3 mobile infrastructure for emerging markets. Their products start at $99. This partnership also offers an EPIC competition.   • Buy in-game assets with $OTK.
  • Integrating an $OTK burn mechanism.
