One-night stand harassing me after split

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is seeking a restraining order against a woman he alleges is harassing him and his mother, Toeleah Chase, over claims she gave birth to his child, TMZ reported.

Chase filed for a temporary restraining order Tuesday against Ambar Hunter, who he said orchestrated an “unhinged and disturbing” pattern of harassment and threats at him and his mother after a one-night stand in July 2021, according to court documents obtained by the outlet.

The 23-year-old NFL star said in the docs that Hunter has been trying to damage his brand, reputation and corporate sponsorships through “calculated and ongoing harassment,” mainly on social media, after he refused to continue their relationship after a single night together.

Hunter has claimed in a number of social media posts, obtained by TMZ, that she and Chase have a child, and that she is the victim of domestic violence.

Chase said the pair do not have a child together, and that Hunter has refused to subject the child to a DNA test, according to the documents — which also stated Hunter posts photos of another person’s child, claiming the child belongs to her and Chase.

The All-Pro wideout also said in the legal documents that Hunter’s abuse claims are false, and that no law enforcement agency has found her to be credible.

Chase claimed Hunter has harassed him from July 2021, until as recently as July 2023 — and posted his and his mother’s personal cell phone numbers on Instagram, which he said led to an influx of harassing calls and texts.

Hunter’s Instagram page, where she reportedly had 18,000 followers, appears to have been taken down.

Chase claimed the woman’s “ongoing harassment scheme” — which included her tagging the Bengals and NFL in numerous Instagram Story posts — is an attempt to harm him and negatively impact his football career.

He has yet to address the matter publicly.

The LSU product, who was selected with the fifth pick in the 2021 NFL draft, is entering his third season with the Bengals.

Chase averaged 18 yards per catch as a rookie on his way to being named the 2021 Offensive Rookie of the Year.

He has 168 receptions for 2,501 yards and 22 touchdowns spanning his first two seasons.

Chase signed a four-year $30.8 million rookie contract with the Bengals, along with a $19.8 million signing bonus at the age of 21.
