Health Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson has conceded the alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl inside Perth Children’s Hospital was “devastating and preventable”.
The horrific incident occurred in a mental health ward on January 2022 — less than a year after the death of Aishwarya Aswath at the same hospital — but was kept under wraps until the parents of the alleged victim shared their story with the ABC.
