The high-spec electric Peugeot E-2008 GT is now advertised for $39,990 drive-away, with the offer applying to new and demo MY23 models purchased and delivered before June 30.

In Victoria, the E-2008 GT is usually priced from $65,455 drive-away, meaning a discount of over $25,000 depending on your location. Peugeot’s offer matches the typical drive-away price of the base MG ZS Excite at $39,990.

Under the bonnet of the Peugeot E-2008 you get a single, front-mounted electric motor producing 100kW of power and 260Nm of torque.

That’s fed by a 50kWh lithium-ion battery pack, with the E-2008 posting a claimed range of up to 328km on the European WLTP testing cycle.

By comparison, the ZS EV boasts a 130kW motor with 280Nm of torque, and quotes a driving range of 320km on the WLTP cycle.

Peugeot backs the E-2008 with a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, along with an eight-year, 160,000km battery warranty.

The offer excludes fleet, government and rental buyers, while metallic and premium paint options are not included and are at an additional cost.
