Huson Griffin earned a win by striking out three and walking four over two innings during Point Pleasant Boro’s 2-1 win over Howell, in Point Pleasant.

Chase Connelly spent four shutout innings on the mound for the Panthers (9-3) and finished with five strikeouts, six walks and one hit.

Bryson Kirby drove in a run for Point Boro.

Aaron Wojenski had a hit and an RBI for the Rebels (4-8).
