Rachel Kolisi on ‘behaviour’ before airport

Rachel Kolisi, the wife of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, revealed that she did a load of washing 45 minutes before she needed to leave to the airport for her flight back to Paris, via her Instagram Stories on Thursday 18 April.

RACHEL KOLISI: ‘I SERIOUSLY NEED TO STOP’

Springboks first lady Rachel Kolisi has several times revealed that she is sometimes late to the airport. The mom of two returned to South Africa from Paris during this week. Rachel was in Cape Town for for a Finding the Light Foundation event at the Artscape Theatre Centre. The event was in support of The Kolisi Foundation, where she reunited with Siya Kolisi’s two siblings – Liyema and Liphelo.

Rachel took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that she decided to wash and dry some laundry 45 minutes before she had to leave to the airport. She was flying from Cape Town, to Frankfurt, Germany and then to Paris, France where her husband and kids were patiently waiting for her return.

“Need to leave the house in 45 minutes to get to the airport. I’m sure I can do a load of washing and sort of drying before I go. I seriously need to stop this behaviour,” she wrote.

She also went on to add that she had a busy few days in Cape Town but it was productive.

“A whirlwind few days. But so productive. I love it here,” she wrote.

INSIDE SIYA’S WEEK WITH THE KIDS

While Rachel was in South Africa, Siya was back home in Paris taking care of their two kids – Nicholas (9) and Keziah (6). He shared a photo dump of his week with the kids on Instagram, telling Rachel she could come back soon. In the first slide, the Kolisi’s posed alongside Greek Tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas. Take a look…

“Week with these two ❤️. @rachelkolisi you can come back anytime now 😩,” he wrote.

Siya also revealed that he took his daughter Keziah to work with him at Racing 92. He shared a video of him combing the six-year-old’s hair.

The Kolisi family moved to Paris, France in 2023. Rachel and the kids moved to the scenic city in August 2023. While Siya moved after he led the Springboks to win the Rugby World Cup on 28 October 2023. Siya then joined Paris-based rugby team Racing 92.
