Rex rabbits are the velvety kings (or queens) of cuddles
Unlike other rabbit breeds with the usual fluffy fur, Rex rabbits have a luxurious, velvety coat thanks to a special twist in their genes. This mutation affects the growth pattern of their fur, causing the guard hairs (normally the longest) to be shortened to the same length as the soft undercoat. The result? A plush, velvety feel that makes them incredibly cuddly and irresistible to pet!
