Declared results for the Rockingham by-election have revealed a dire result for the Liberals, with candidate Peter Hudson falling behind Independent Hayley Edwards in the final count.
The numbers, released by the Electoral Commission on Saturday, shows the Liberals falling short of the final distribution of preferences by more than 250 votes.
