The National Testing Agency will be closing the registration window for All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) tomorrow, i.e December 16, 2023.
Prospective candidates will be able to apply for the admission round by registering on the official website of AISSEE at exams.nta.ac.in/aissee.
Follow these step-by-step instructions to register for AISSEE 2024
Step 1: Go to the official AISSEE website: Visit exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/.
Step 2: Click on the registration link: Once on the website, find and click on the registration link.
Step 3: Enter your details: Provide the required personal information and a valid email address.
Step 4: Pay the fee: Use online payment options such as Credit/Debit Card or Net-Banking to pay the applicable fee.
Step 5: Confirm your application: After completing the form and payment, make sure to confirm the application.
AISSEE 2024 covers admissions to Class VI and IX of existing Sainik Schools and Class VI of newly approved Sainik Schools for the academic year 2024-25. To apply, candidates must visit the official website exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/, as applications in any other form will not be accepted.
The fee structure for AISSEE 2024 varies based on the category of candidates. General, Wards of Defence personnel, and ex-servicemen, as well as OBC (NCL) candidates, are required to pay Rs. 650. On the other hand, candidates from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes categories have a reduced fee of Rs. 500.
The last date for a successful fee transaction through Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking is tomorrow, December 16, 2023, until 11.50 PM. In case of errors in the application form, candidates can make corrections on the website from 18th December to 20th December 2023.
Admission cards will be available for download from the NTA website at a later date. The examination is scheduled for January 21, 2024, with varying durations for admission to Class VI (150 minutes) and Class IX (180 minutes). The exam timings are from 02:00 pm to 04:30 pm for Class VI and 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm for Class IX.
The examination centres will be specified in the admission cards. The display of scanned OMR answer sheets, question paper sets, and answer keys will be announced on the NTA website. Results will be declared within six weeks after the exam.
It is important to note that candidates should submit only one application, which is common for both Sainik Schools and approved New Sainik Schools. The application fee remains the same whether applying for one or both. Multiple applications for the same level (Class VI or Class IX) will lead to rejection, according to the notification.
