Sadio Mane, Anderson Talisca and Ronaldo all hit the back of the net in the game, while Al Raed got a consolation goal in the form of a Mohammed Fouzair spot kick.

Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo got his name on the scoresheet on Saturday as Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr registered a 3-1 win over Al Raed at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Burayadah.

Sadio Mane, Anderson Talisca and Ronaldo all hit the back of the net in the game, while Al Raed got a consolation goal in the form of a Mohammed Fouzair spot kick.

Al Nassr took a slender 1-0 lead into the break as former Liverpool and Bayern Munich star Mane opened the scoring in the game in the added time of the first half of the game. The players headed to the tunnel following the referee’s whistle.

Things got worse for Al Raed before the break as they were down to 10 men following Bander Whaeshi’s sending off for a red card.

Once the game resumed, Talisca doubled his side’s lead with an early second-period goal that came in the 49th minute of the fixture.

Ranaldo had not gotten onto the scoresheet in the game, but that changed in the 78th minute as the 38-year-old found the back of the net and put the ball in there beyond the reaches of the Al Raed custodian.

Al Raed pulled one back through Fouzair’s attempt from the penalty spot after the referee gave the decision in favour of Al Raed.

The fixture ended 3-1 in favour of Al Nassr, who brought Ronaldo into their fold last season following his unceremonious exit from English giants Manchester United.

The relationship between Ronaldo and the English club soured after the Portuguese player went on to do an explosive interview with journalist Piers Morgan, in which he lambasted the way things are being done at the prestigious and legendary stadium.

The arrival of Ronaldo to Saudi shores has been followed by a massive influx of multiple talented players including the likes of Neymar, Roberto Firmino and so on.
