Scarborough’s iconic sunset markets on the coast returns for winter season

The winter edition of Scarborough’s Sunset Markets will return on Saturday with up to 50 foodies and retailers warming up the nights until October.

A global selection of food and drink will nestle around the Scarborough clock tower while hand-selected artisan market stalls will flank the winter oasis.

The extensive list of food vendors overlooking the ocean include barbecued meats, authentic Indian, gourmet toasties, Italian street food, authentic Lebanese, Brazilian bites, gnocchi, Asian curries, Moroccan and Thai soups.

Your local paper, whenever you want it.

The dessert options include Polish donuts, French crepes, Dutch mini pancakes, deep fried delights and creme brulee.

From a retail perspective, vintage clothing, street clothing, handmade candles, photography and ocean-inspired jewellery are just some of the vendors locked in.
