Seventeen sharks sighted off WA shores in 24 hours, including near Indjidup Bay and in Swan River

Seventeen sharks, some as big as three metres, have been sighted near swimming spots around WA in the past 24 hours.

According to SharkSmart’s website, two sightings of a 3m bull shark offshore Escape Island near Jurien Bay were reported just before 4pm.

Four sharks were also spotted circling just 20m offshore of popular swimming spot Indjidup Bay in Yallingup at 2.41pm.
