Shein customer shocked to find vial of blood in dress delivery box

This is ob-Shein.

A woman from Tennessee said she ordered clothing from Shein and was horrified when she found a mysterious vial of blood inside her FedEx package on Monday, People reported.

Anna Elliot posted a video to her TikTok, where she goes by Anna Marie, explaining the bizarre ordeal. In addition to a vial of human blood, she claimed her package, which was only supposed to contain the dresses she ordered, also had a dented can of Mexican beans inside.

The Post reached out to Elliot for comment.

“I just received a package from Shein that contained a vial of human blood from a testing company. It had no name, no doctor’s office, no date,” she said in her clip, which has already garnered more than 7 million views since being posted three days ago.

Elliot said she subsequently reached out to the blood testing company to report what she had found.

“The lady from the testing company said they are trying to track it down. She said that it was completely mishandled and that they don’t even ship blood to residents. They only ship blood back and forth between doctors,” she recalled.

Elliot said she contacted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which she claimed is filing a report and investigating the incident as a “major biohazard.”

In her first video, she said her local sheriff planned on testing the vial and would reach out to the CDC if they “find anything concerning.”

She warned fellow shoppers to be careful the next time they open a Shein package.

“If you receive a Shein package, dump it out on a table and look at everything before you touch it, and then sanitize your hands. Be extremely careful,” she said.

A Shein spokesperson provided The Post with the following statement: “When we were made aware that a customer received a package that had been tampered with, we launched an immediate investigation. This indicated when the package completed our quality control process and left our facility it contained only the SHEIN items ordered. We will continue actively supporting the customer in her continued investigation into what occurred once her package left a SHEIN facility.”

Elliot posted a series of follow-up videos updating people about the situation.

In one recent video, Elliot said the Shein was actively trying to help her and that the vial and the beans came from the US, not from China.

In a video from a day ago, she said that Shein reached out to her via email, and eventually she got a call from a higher-up in Los Angeles who told her they looked through all of their factory footage.

“Our investigation indicates that when your package went through our quality control process and left our facility, it contained only the items in the order,” she said Shein claimed in an email her.

She concluded that someone may have tampered with the FedEx package.

Elliot originally said FedEx didn’t do much to help her, but in a video from a few hours ago she said FedEx “finally reached out.”

She said a FedEx employee told her that packages sometimes “get busted open in transit” and that employees put things in another package because they sometimes “guess wrong.”

She claimed that FedEx went to the sheriff to get the vial to test it. In another video, Elliot showed a needle she said her friend received in another Shein package over the summer.

Commenters below Elliot’s videos shared her horror.

“This is literally insane!!” one person wrote.

“Who thought clothes, beans, and a vial of blood go in the same box???” another added.

“Your FedEx driver was a vampire/heroine addict/fein,” a third joked.

Others said they weren’t surprised.

“I used to track high-value shipments out of the company I worked for. Crazy stuff happens all the time,” one said.

“Yah, I work at FedEx and while I’ve never seen blood this definitely happens. Unfortunately, unless your box gets destroyed we usually don’t have the time to deal with it,” another added.
