Single vehicle crash on Bussell Highway in Bramley, north of Margaret River

A teenage driver has received serious injuries after his car collided with a tree north of Margaret River this afternoon.

It was the second deployment for the RAC rescue helicopter to WA’s South West after a surfing accident near Gracetown earlier in the day.

It is understood that the young man struck a tree just after 3pm after veering off the road in the 100km/h speed zone on Bussell Highway near Osmington Road.

The driver was freed from the crash by the Margaret River Fire and Rescue Service with serious injuries and will be transported to Royal Perth Hospital once his condition is stable.
