A windsurfer who was bitten by a shark north of Lancelin — and drove himself to the local nursing post after the terrifying incident — remains in a stable condition in hospital.
The 46-year-old man has spent Christmas morning at Joondalup Health Campus after a shark bit him on the ankle while he was windsurfing at South Rocks, about 2.5km east of Wedge Island, about 3pm on Sunday.
