This debut book, by recently returned Perth cook Alec Morris, is for the pasta enthusiasts among us — after all, who doesn’t love a plate of fresh pasta? Morris has taken all he’s learned from a lifetime of being taught to make and cook fresh pasta, and the traditions of his Italian family, and distilled it into this hardcover. In it, he and his young sons, Aldo and Elio, take readers through 30 different doughs and 42 shapes. It’s published by Hardie Grant Books and will be released on August 2.
