The platform experienced a trading pace of more than one transaction per second throughout the day and welcomed a substantial influx of new customers, making Black Friday the second-largest day in StockX’s history for first-time buyers.

Meanwhile, trade momentum persisted throughout the weekend, with Cyber Monday transactions surpassing levels seen in 2022, and tens of millions of dollars in sales over the four-day event, across its sneakers, apparel, accessories, collectibles, and electronics categories.

“Hundreds of thousands of unique buyers and sellers shopped StockX this Cyber Weekend, which speaks to the continued strength of our marketplace and the resale space as a whole,” said StockX CEO, Scott Cutler.

“While value and price understandably remain top-of-mind for consumers, brand loyalty hasn’t wavered. The performance of some of our most popular brands further underscores this point. Fear of God, Ugg, and Asics saw their biggest trade days in company history over the weekend, New Balance is on track to close 2023 with record trades, and adidas (not including Yeezy) has seen double digit growth on StockX in 2023.”

In particular, the Adidas Campus sneaker ranked among the top 100 products on Cyber Weekend, for the first year in StockX history, while the Jordan 11 Retro DMP Gratitude (2023) took the top spot among Jordan Brand sneakers.

Likewise, multiple Ugg products, including the Tazz and Tasman silhouettes, were among the top sellers, with Black Friday setting a record for Ugg trades. The adidas Yeezy Slide Slate Grey was the No. 1 top-traded product. Likewise, hoodies from Fear of God’s Essentials line dominated the apparel category, especially in black and oatmeal colorways.

Year-over-year trades during Cyber Weekend in 2023 compared to 2022 revealed that StockX’s ‘Shoes’ category was the fastest-growing. Over Cyber Weekend, StockX recorded over 10 million visitors to its website and app, and awarded nearly $2 million in prizes to customers.

The platform served buyers and sellers in more than 100 countries, with markets like France and Canada setting new trade records on Black Friday.
