A STUNNING Scottish hotel has been named among some of the most stylish hotels in the world.
A list of 21 gorgeous hotels has been compiled by lifestyle and fashion magazine GQ.

And it includes some of the most luxurious places where holidaymakers can stay.
They’ve included everything from hotels in tucked-away areas, to forest getaways and beach stays in their list.
There are even those with rooftop pools and huge art collections which made the list.
The experts said, “we asked designers, artists and editors across the GQ universe to help us handpick the most absurdly good-looking places to stay”.
Although the list itself doesn’t have official rankings, an incredible hotel in the Scottish Highlands is among the globe-spanning selection.
Located in the heart of Braemar, in Ballater, The Fife Arms Hotel highly impressed the experts.
The 46-bedroom hotel was formerly a Victorian coaching inn which was turned into a five-star boutique after an incredible revamp.
It was singled out for its off-kilter aesthetic which combines its historic antiques with new, contemporary touches.
Its rooms all have hand-painted walls and stunning cabin-style beds with a range of opulent artefacts.
The Fife Arms also has an incredible restaurant which serves Scottish produce and has an amazing drinks menu.
Visitors can enjoy a range of whiskies, wines, and cocktails which they can enjoy at several bars in the hotel.
They can enjoy their drinks around a cosy fireplace in the ‘Fondue Hut’ which has wood panelling.
Or people can relax with a wide range of luxurious spa treatments at the Albamhor Treatment Rooms.

Describing the hotel on the website, experts at GQ said: “Not content with helming one of the art world’s mega-galleries, the couple behind Hauser & Wirth have turned their hand to hospitality.
“The Fife Arms, on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, is a hunting-lodge-meets-Tate-Modern (think Logan Roy on a shooting weekend).
“At the end of a dreich day on the moors, you can down your dram of whisky under a Man Ray photograph.
“Or a Picasso painting. Or a Lucian Freud portrait.”

The only other hotel in the UK mentioned on the list is the Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire.
The hotel in the Cotswolds was praised for its “sprawling Roman-style baths” and it’s “ornate chandeliers, Victorian antiques, and a surplus of silk sofas.”
