The Met Gala never disappoints. For the 2024 event, our favorite A-listers came dressed to strut across the “green” carpet, looking like a million bucks. This year’s theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” with a dress code of “The Garden of Time,” was a call to action for celebs to don outfits inspired by nature’s beauty. Think: florals, elegant branches, and bedazzling crystals. The night belonged to shimmer, and Sydney Sweeney was the glitter queen of the evening with a sparkly look that brought back 2000s body glitter in the best way.
Sweeney debuted a striking black bob and a Miu Miu dusty blue, floral embellished gown that made her look like she had just walked out of a fairytale, truly capturing the spirit of the theme. Her trusted makeup artist, Melissa Hernandez, painted an ethereal portrait using Armani Beauty products. She started with a dewy complexion compliments of the Luminous Silk Foundation ($69), with a touch of the brand’s new Luminous Silk Cheek Tint ($39) in the shade Bold Pink and the Luminous Silk Glow Blush ($39) in shade Amore on Sweeney’s cheeks to match her plump, flesh-toned lips. While we don’t have the details on the exact body glitter used, we know that the Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer ($42) in Champagne Gold worked in tandem with it to give her a goddess appeal. The star sported latex gloves, which became a beautiful counterpart, drawing attention to her diamond-draped neck and gleaming neckline.
