The Hells Angels bikie gang is suspected to be linked to a mammoth 850kg cocaine importation seized from a bulk cargo carrier off the WA coast, it can be revealed, as police crack down on outlaw motorcycle gangs across the country.
On Friday, Australian Federal Police revealed a further two people had been charged in connection to the high-profile seizure in May, which involved military divers recovering 29 cocaine-filled packages submerged in the ship’s water-filled ballast tank.
