NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has announced the results of the Intermediate Public Examinations (1st & 2nd year) 2024 today, April 24. Candidates who appeared in the Telangana Intermediate Examination 2024 (both 1st and 2nd year) can check their scorecards from the official website at tsbie.cgg.gov.in.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) announced the much-awaited results for both the 1st and 2nd-year intermediate exams today, April 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM.The official announcement was made by Mr. Burra Venkatesham, I.A.S., Principal Secretary to Government, Education Department, Telangana State, and Smt. Shruti Ojha, I.A.S., Secretary, TSBIE, at the board’s premises.

Telangana Inter Result 2024: Pass Percentage of 1st & 2nd Year
In comparing the pass percentages for TSBIE 1st and 2nd year Inter results of 2023 and 2024, notable differences emerge. In the first year, the pass percentage witnessed a decline from 63.85% in 2023 to 61.06% in 2024. Conversely, in the second year, there was an increase from 67.27% in 2023 to 69.46% in 2024, indicating an improvement in performance.

TS Inter 1st, 2nd Year Results 2024: Girls Perform Better Than Boys
Once again, girls have outperformed boys in the annual examination results. In the first year, girls exhibited a pass percentage of 68.35%, surpassing the 55.5% achieved by boys. Similarly, in the second year, girls maintained their lead with a pass percentage of 72.5%, compared to the 56.1% recorded among boys.
Last year, a total of 9,48,153 students appeared for the TS Intermediate 1st and 2nd year exams. The combined pass percentage for both years was 62.57%, which showed a slight decrease from last year’s pass percentage of 65.19%. The pass percentage for the first year was 61.68%, and for the second year, it was 63.49%. A total of 4,33,082 students appeared for the 1st year exams, out of which 2,72,208 students cleared the exam.
