Much like that exhilarating feeling of diving into a swimming pool on a scorching summer’s day, Black Swan State Theatre Company’s world premiere of The Pool is a refreshing burst of artistic creativity.
It takes audiences out of the theatre and into the setting of Bold Park Aquatic Centre, perched on the 50m pool’s concrete bleachers for one hour and 20 minutes of unadulterated eavesdropping.
