The UK beach bar that looks like it’s in Ibiza – and it has the best sunsets

IF you want Ibiza vibes without leaving the UK, then you should head to a beach down in Cornwall.

The UK has some great beaches, one of which is Lusty Glaze, found in Newquay.

The Lusty Glaze Beach Restaurant is popular with both locals and tourists, serving food and drinks right on the beach.

They serve freshly cooked pizza every day as well as cakes and hot chocolate.

This year, a new pop up restaurant 129 will run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Options include seafood linguine, duck breast and Sunday roasts.

It’s even used for weddings, and you can stay the night at the Cottage or the Chalet.

The beach restaurant was praised by one TikToker, who compared it to the popular Spanish island of Ibiza.

TikTok user Hannah Rebecca posted a video, who wrote: “Ibiza or England?”

She then panned out to the stylish beach bar which was open air with trendy glove lights and plants.

To the left was the bright orange sunset overlooking the beach.

Others were just as impressed – one person said: “Love this! Had no idea this place existed!”

Another said: “Was here today, it was absolutely unreal.”

Someone else agreed: “Been there, it’s so pretty”.

Other holidaymakers raved about it on TripAdvisor too – one person wrote: “It’s like your own mini Ibiza in Cornwall.”

Another said: “At the sunset the place looked amazing and if this was Ibiza people would be cheering!

Someone else simply said: “The Lusty Glaze is our favourite place in Cornwall.”

Even if you don’t head to the restaurant, the beach itself is well worth a visit which can even be rented for private events.

Otherwise visit during the summer for an Ibiza Club Classics night, as well as a 25th anniversary party with tribute acts including Coldplay, Mumford & Sons and Ed Sheeran.

There is also the Sundowner Sessions, yet to be given a date but will welcome acts including Ben Howard, Razorlight, The Kooks and The Feeling.
