A CAMPSITE with direct access to the sea in the UK has been compared to both the Caribbean and Greek islands because of how stunning it is.
Some people are surprised when they see how amazing some of the beaches in the United Kingdom are.

One of which is found in Vatersay in the Scottish Hebrides.
The Vatersay Hall Cafe Campsite is a rare holiday spot that has direct access to a beach with clean white sand and clear blue waters.
The cafe itself is run by the people from the community and serves a simple menu of soups, sandwiches, toasties, cakes, tea and coffee and.
The staff are all islanders, offering guests plenty of local knowledge about the area.
However, it also offers camping spots, with a grass pitch next to Vatersay hall, as well as a car park that caravans can use.
There is also a toilet block and shower facilities available for use on site.
What really makes the location stand out is the pristine stretch of shoreline standing right in front of the hall.
It really impressed camping Instagrammers @Otisandus_ who shared a video from their visit to the campsite, in which they described it as the best they’d found.

They wrote: “I think this may be the BEST camping with direct access to this beautiful beach in the UK.
“The beach has the whitest sand that I have seen, and stunning clear waters. There is a cafe with gorgeous cakes and toilets.
“Perfect for wild swimming, kayaking or a paddleboard to.”
Their footage impressed a lot of their followers, with several saying it looked as if it was somewhere much more exotic than the UK.
One wrote: “Absolutely amazing would definitely camp here.”
Another said: “This looks like the Caribbean.”

David Scotland owns camping equipment retailer Outdoor World Direct and knows all about how to make a camping trip run smoothly.
When visiting any campsite this summer it’s important to make sure you’re not making simple mistakes that could ruin your holiday.
Check your tent
David recommends putting your tent up a couple of weeks before you’re due to travel to give you enough time to repair or replace any damaged parts.
He told Sun Online Travel: “You’d be surprised how many people turn up with broken tents.”
Test the ground
Picking a good spot to pitch your tent is difficult, with lots of things to consider.
One of those should be the condition of the ground you’re putting your tent on top of, according to David.
He said: “Once you’ve found the perfect spot, test the ground with your pegs before you commit to camping there to make sure the ground is soft enough.”
Don’t nap in your tent
It may seem the perfect place for it, but a nap in a tent could end badly, if it’s done at the wrong time of the day.
David explained: “If the sun’s shining and it’s hot inside your tent – don’t do it!
“One of our friends nodded off in his tent during a heatwave at Glastonbury and ended up at the medical tent with heatstroke.”
Instead, he recommends finding some shade outside or somewhere well ventilated.
A third added: “Wow! It looks like somewhere in Greece!”
With places like this, the beaches sometimes don’t live up to the pictures, but previous guests have said that Vatersay more than lived up to expectations.
One review of the site on UK Campsite reads: “Our boys (2&5) had lots of fun on both beaches which are as spectacular as in the photos! Will be back.”
Another said: “The location is stunning and there’s plenty of options for pitching your tent either facing sunset or sunrise.”
Pricing for the campsite isn’t widely publicised online, but reviews from recent guests suggest that an honest contribution of just £2 is required for tents and £10 for caravans.
