Since adding it to our kitchen and our lives, I have been using the airfryer to make everything from perfect roast chickens to potato wedges, salmon for my toddler daughter and more.

It has almost replaced my oven in its use, and I love the fact that it has both sped up and simplified the dreaded process of what’s for dinner.
What is the Instant Vortex Plus Versazone XXL Airfryer 8.5L?
The Instant Vortex airfryer is a device that will airfry, roast, bake, re-heat, grill and de-hydrate in one appliance.
Currently selling for $299 at Instant Brands and $269 on Amazon, it not only cooks everything to within an inch of perfection without added fat or oil, it also uses up to 80 per cent less energy than traditional electric ovens.
This means saving on energy consumption and cost — which is all-important during a cost of living crisis.
Clever VersaZone technology either cooks in a single 8.5L zone or in two 4.25L zones.
So you can either use the larger basket for large family meals, or switch to dual 4.25L baskets to cook two separate things at the same time.
With EvenCrisp air flow technology, the Instant Vortex airfryer promises to deliver crispy, tender results every time, with 95 per cent less oil compared to deep frying.
The cooking basket, cooking tray and divider are all non-stick and dishwasher safe, meaning clean up is quick and convenient.
How did I find using it?
Since adding the Instant Vortex airfryer into my daily routine, I have been loving how quick, easy and fuss-free it is to use.
The airfryer delivers some of the tastiest roast potatoes I’ve ever had, and when I’m rushing through the door after 5pm and need to make my family something tasty and healthy to eat, it’s easy to get something on and have it ready within 20 minutes.
The airfryer is intuitive to use, which I also like.
I also love the keep warm function, which is great if I want to avoid making two dinners and want to keep ours warm while we put our daughter to bed.
Reviews are almost unanimously positive online, where shoppers on Amazon have given the appliance an impressive five-star rating.
