Two Rocks local Brehoni Renka set to change the way people shop local with free app Incaberry

A Two Rocks local is putting a fresh spin on the way Western Australians get their hands on produce.

Brehoni Renka’s free app, Incaberry, is as a one-stop-shop for consumers, small businesses and hobbyist growers alike to buy, sell and trade fresh produce.

With the touch of a button, users will be able to navigate the in-app map to easily find what’s on offer nearby.

The app will also feature a shop front for users looking to sell their goods for a set price or donation.

Sellers will also have the option to list their address details and availability times to cut out the back and forth that comes with other marketplace models.

Ms Renka designed Incaberry with community connection in mind.

“I would love to introduce more connection because these days it almost feels strange to knock on your neighbour’s door and ask if you can have some lemons even if you can see they have a beautiful tree with lots of lemons.”

She also hopes it will ease cost of living pressures.

“Coles and Woolworths will have some competition, which will be the local community because they will be able to get their fresh produce at a low cost, she said.

“Single or stay at home mums can grow produce with their kids and it’s a learning experience for them but it could also provide a source of income if they are struggling financially.”

Ms Renka’s had the light bulb moment when she struggled to find local growers.

“My mum and I were driving through the Swan Valley a few years ago looking for grapes and watermelons trying to find local growers and it was difficult.”

Locals are chomping at the bit with over 4,000 people already signed up to the app ahead of its official launch in Spring.

“There’ been so much support and excitement for it, the only thing is people have been ready and want it to be launched sooner.”

Incaberry will only offer pick-up, but Ms Renk hopes to partner with a delivery service in the future to bring the app to more locals.
