Vignan releases VSAT-2024 notification – Times of India

GUNTUR: Stating that Vignan’s university is giving highest priority to the research studies, vice-chancellor professor P. Nagabhushan outlined the institution’s ambitious objectives, including the provision of high-quality employment opportunities for youth, fostering their development into successful entrepreneurs. The university has issued VSAT notifications for admissions to various programs such as B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, BBA, BCA, BSc, BA LLB, BBA LLB, BSc (Hons) Agriculture, MTech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc Chemistry, MA English, and PhD (VSAT – 2024) for the academic year 2024-25.
Speaking to the media, vice- chancellor Nagabhushan explained that diverse range of courses encompassing fields like BTech, agriculture, biotechnology, bioinformatics, biomedical, as well as emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, business systems, data science and others. Vice-chancellor mentioned that scholarships would be offered for BTech and BPharmacy admissions, based on performance in the upcoming VSAT entrance exam, which will be conducted nationwide.
The dean of admissions Dr. KV Krishna Kishore said that VSAT entrance test is scheduled to take place from March 1 to April 30. The deadline for completing VSAT-2024 applications is February 25. Dr. Krishna Kishore said that a 50 percent fee scholarship will be awarded to those securing ranks within the top 50 in VSAT, 25 percent to ranks between 51-200, and 10 percent to ranks between 201-2000. Fee scholarships are also available based on Inter Marks, JEE Mains, and EAMCET Ranks. A quarter of the seats in all departments are designated for scholarship recipients, prioritized according to talent. Those who have taken the VSAT exam will be given priority in the allocation of BTech seats.
Vice-chancellor said that their university is changing the curriculum from time to time and preparing the syllabus according to industry needs. It has been revealed that teaching has been made very interesting for the students by connecting all the subjects to laboratories and projects, taking them to industries, and imparting awareness.
He said that there is an innovators club in Vignan to enable students to implement their brilliant ideas, and it is already achieving good results.
