THE brute who ran over and killed a cyclist then buried him “like an animal” admitted his vile crime in a Christmas confession to his fiancée, we can reveal.
Alexander McKellar, 31, told his horrified partner he and twin Robert had hidden the body of tragic Tony Parsons, 63, more than three years earlier.

But the woman was so sickened that she called the cops — leading to the ex-Navy man’s remains being found and the evil brothers being put behind bars this week.
Both now face lengthy jail terms over the death of Tony in September 2017 and the disposal of his corpse near Bridge of Orchy, Argyll.
Last night a source said Alexander finally coughed up about what happened during a Christmas drinking session in December 2020.
They added: “His fiancée asked if he had any secrets to reveal before they got married but obviously she wasn’t expecting that bombshell.
“He’d hidden it for more than three years.
“Only Alexander and his twin brother knew until then.
“The incredible admission led police to finding Mr Parsons in an animal grave.
“Were it not for the confession, it would probably still be a mystery to this day.”
The High Court in Glasgow heard on Wednesday how the chilling sequence of events began on September 29, 2017.
Dad-of-two Tony had been making his way back from Fort William, Inverness-shire, to his home in Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, as part of a charity cycle.
But he died after his bike was hit on the A82 between Bridge of Orchy and Tyndrum by an Isuzu pick-up truck driven by boozed-up Alexander McKellar.
The fiend, who had a list of previous motoring convictions, then teamed up with his twin to cover up the crime.
They buried Tony in nearby woods but later moved him to another location used “for disposing of dead animals”.
His disappearance sparked a missing person probe, which included a BBC Crimewatch TV appeal by Tony’s son.
But it wasn’t until December 2020 that cops arrested and charged both McKellars after receiving “information”.
Days later, on January 3, 2021, Tony’s remains were discovered in the remote Auch estate near the pair’s home village of Bridge of Orchy.
Both brothers were due to stand trial accused of murder but Alexander pled guilty to reduced charges of culpable homicide and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Robert admitted a bid to defeat justice. They were remanded in custody.
The case was adjourned until today, when more details are expected to be revealed before Lord Armstrong at the High Court in Glasgow.
