WAAPA graduate Ursula Mills returns to Perth in Bell Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at Heath Ledger Theatre

It feels like WA Academy of Performing Arts 2006 acting graduate Ursula Mills could not get two more polar opposite plays than the one she last performed in Perth — George Orwell’s 1984 at His Majesty’s Theatre in 2017 — and Bell Shakespeare’s production of Twelfth Night, touring to the Heath Ledger Theatre in August.

“I don’t usually get to do a play that has a comedy element. I mean, most of the work that I’ve done has been quite dramatic and dark, like 1984,” Mills says as she undertakes the role of Olivia.
